My name is Sarah Ballard, and I am very excited to continue teaching with the incredible staff at San Tan Elementary. I am the resource teacher for 5th and 6th grade, and this will be my ninth year in education. Prior to teaching at San Tan, I worked in a middle school self-contained autism classroom.
I live in San Tan Valley with my husband, Mark, two children, Zoe (17) and Jack (15), and our two dogs - Grizzly and Roux, and our cat Mew. In my spare time I love to go hiking, and watch my favorite team, the Chicago Cubs!
I believe that every child is capable of learning and being successful. I have high expectations for my students, and love creating a fun and motivating learning environment. It is a priority for me to work together with families to ensure that we are all working toward the same goals, in the best interest of the child.
