My name is Tayler Walsh and I am so EXCITED to be teaching your child this year. Becoming a teacher has been my greatest achievement. I have always known that being a teacher and having the chance to change a child’s life, was exactly what I was meant to do. This year is going to be a year full of learning, fun and adventure.
I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and I moved to Gilbert, in July of 2016. This year will be my 8th year of teaching. I graduated from the University of Mount Union in May 2016, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, in Early Childhood Education and Special Education, along with an endorsement to teach fourth and fifth grade. I just recently graduated in May of 2021, with my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership and received my principal license.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am a fur mom to two Siberian Huskies, named Skye and Blue. I also enjoy being outside and being active. I LOVE coffee! Starbucks and Black Rock are a few weaknesses of mine.
We are going to have the best year ever in 2nd grade!
