My name is Mrs. Rachael Villanueva. This year will be my eighth-year teaching, and my second year teaching ELA and Social Studies in sixth grade! I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a certificate in Environmental Education in May 2016. I also graduated in May 2018 with my Master's degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education. I look forward to working with a diverse group of leaders that will be enriched through a rigorous curriculum.

I was born in Wisconsin and lived there up until sixth grade. I have lived in Arizona for the past 16 years. I am still a Wisconsinite at heart that loves dairy products, the Green Bay Packers, and snow. The majority of my family lives in Wisconsin and I enjoy going back to visit. This past year, my family grew by one. My husband and I have an almost one-year-old daughter. In our free time, we love to work out, watch movies, and hang out with friends.

My favorite sports to play include basketball and indoor volleyball. Most importantly, I am very excited to begin my eighth year teaching at San Tan, inspiring and educating the leaders of the future.
