    About Me:
My name is Chelsea Trevino and I grew up in Mesa, Arizona. I have lived in the Valley my whole life and absolutely love it. I graduated from the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University with my Bachelors in Secondary Education with a concentration in history, Go Devils! I also have my masters in School Counseling from Ottawa University. I am a big fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Pittsburgh Steelers. This is my fourth year as a Higley Knight and I am so excited for the 2019-2020 school year!
    Educational Philosophy:
I believe students need a positive, safe learning community so they may excel in their academics and relate their education to everyday life. History is such a fun, important and exciting subject and I cannot wait to convey my passion for social studies to my students. In my class, students will be working rigorously everyday with a multitude of sources and participating in an abundance of engaging activities in which they will become historians of their own. I am first and foremost here to provide the tools my students need to succeed. I am extremely excited to work along side my students and model what it is to be a life long learner.
