My name is Ms. Adams and I am super excited to be your Teacher! It's going to be a great year--full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries--learning together! I have been teaching in Arizona at Power Ranch Elementary since 2016. Previously, in Colorado, I taught First Grade, student taught Second Grade, and substituted K-5. I also spent 3 years as a Kindergarten Teaching Assistant.
In 1998, I earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Journalism from the University of Minnesota, and in 2014, I received my Master's in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University.
I spent my childhood in Wisconsin (Go Packers!), enjoyed Colorado for a decade, and now call Arizona home (sunshine and hot temps!). I have two teenage sons--Joey and Alex. In my spare time, I like to craft, play board games, work on fill-ins, word searches, and puzzles, hike, play tennis, and spend time in or around the water!
