Dear Bridges Community,
I am very honored to be the Assistant Principal at Bridges Elementary School. Go Bobcats! Bridges is a school designed for fostering students with the skills and knowledge needed for the 21st century workplace by implementing Project-Based Learning (PBL) and Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). In addition to being a great neighborhood school, Bridges also hosts a Gifted and Talented Education (GATE) program. I am fortunate to be a part of Bridges as we continue to cultivate the school’s culture and traditions.
I have been in the education profession for over 20 years with various roles: a classroom teacher, Student Services Coordinator, and a Dean of Students prior to becoming Assistant Principal at Bridges. My experiences allow me to bring numerous skills to Bridges as we continue to raise the expectations and rigor. I am very student-centered and love to interact with them.
I became an educator because I want to improve the lives of children and the education process. I am passionate when it comes to education, as receiving a proper education is vital to a student’s future success. A school should be intellectually challenging, motivating, safe, inspiring, and supportive of students, regardless of their needs. I am a visionary, supportive leader with an open door philosophy. I believe in firm, but fair and consistent discipline, and always will do what is best for the students to enhance learning.
I am looking forward to building relationships with the staff, students, and community. If you have any questions, concerns, celebrations, or want to schedule an appointment, please call 480.279.8700 or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org
. I am looking forward to another productive school year.
