Higley Unified School District is a distinguished district in Arizona that serves students at 16 schools located in Gilbert and Queen Creek, including HUSD's very own Virtual Academy. Students succeed on a number of academic markers as teachers prepare learners today to achieve their goals and dreams of tomorrow.
The district operates on a modified year-round calendar.

Higley schools offer a well-rounded education with academics, music, art, languages, athletics, physical education, technology, and character education. Schools provide a safe and inviting environment for learning. Extra-curricular activities begin at the elementary school level, with dozens of options available at the high schools.

Schools offer a number of extra-curricular activities based on student-interest. At the elementary level, students may find clubs based on the arts, robotics, writing, student government or community service.

The same themes continue at the middle school level. Students continue to add to the club options each year. Both campuses host National Junior Honor Society clubs.

High school students will find activities to explore interests. Nearly 60 options are available in the arts, athletics, STEM-focus, academics, service learning and more.
