• Higley Unified School District offers a wide variety of Career and Technical Education programs focused on helping students explore career options, train for specific jobs/certifications and prepare for the jobs of tomorrow. In these programs students are guided through hands on instruction to learn industry specific skills and knowledge as well as soft skills such as communication and problem solving. Students who complete CTE programs are better prepared for entry level jobs and postsecondary education.

    The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department at HUSD provides students with real-world skills in a variety of fields including Bioscience, Engineering, Graphic Design, Digital Photography, Marketing, Sports Medicine, and Video Production.

    Our programs strive to lead the way in cutting edge technology. Our CTE programs are planned course sequences of high quality academic core content and technical skills.  Our Programs of Study prepare students to be college and career ready. With this preparation, our students can successfully transition toward their post-secondary goals.
