Special Education 4th | Rakoczy, Janice

 

Thank you for taking the time to visit my teacher page.   My name is Janice Rakoczy and I am very excited to be working with the amazing team at Gateway Pointe Elementary School again this year! 

 

I have lived in Arizona with my husband and son for 11 years.   I am originally from California and I also lived in Canada for many years...you may detect a slight accent!! 

 

I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada.  I earned a Master's Degree in Education at Arizona State University and am certified in both Elementary and Special Education.  This will be my 7th year of teaching and I am very passionate about being a Resource teacher in Special Education.
