• Hi!  My name is Michelle Bordonaro and I have the pleasure of being an 8th grade ELA co-taught teacher and 8th grade Math resource teacher.  I am the mother of two beautiful girls, Emma is 11 and Abby is 9.  Before teaching at Sossaman, I taught for 4 years at Centennial Elementary.  I have been an active member of the Higley community for 6 years as a parent volunteer and PTO member before joining the teaching staff.
I am an Arizona native, growing up in Glendale and graduating from St. Mary's High School in Phoenix.  I earned a B.S. in Family Resources and Human Development from Arizona State University then went on to become a certified special education teacher.  I taught sixth through eighth resource for two years at Sullivan Elementary in the Murphy School District before staying home to raise my girls. Once my youngest started Kindergarten, I joined the Centennial Elementary School staff as a resource teacher working with students in 4th-6th grade.
I enjoy working with students and helping them to realize their potential.  When I decided to make the transition back to the working world, Higley was my number one choice.
    My Family
