My name is Carrie Burnette and I have taught a number of different grades, but preschool has been my favorite age group. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Pace University and a Master's Degree in Education, with an emphasis in Reading, from Arizona State University. Go Sun Devils! I hold endorsements in Early Childhood Education, Reading, and English as a Second Language. When not at school I have 3 children and 3 nutty dogs who all keep me quite busy!
Teaching is my passion. I love watching children grow and make connections. I feel that Kinder Prep is an important year for students. It is when they will begin to form their first opinions about school and themselves as learners. I love to learn and am excited to share that enthusiasm with the students in my classroom.
