Mrs. Michelle Hunt
Dear Kindergarten Parents,
It is with great excitement and anticipation that I introduce myself as your child's teacher for this school year. My name is Michelle Hunt and I am honored to be an integral part of your child's foundational education at our A+ rated school.
Arizona State University's Early Childhood Education program is where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. My formal early childhood beginnings began as an instructional assistant. I fell in love with the "little ones" and then there was no looking back - I knew education was the place for me. This will be my ninth year teaching in Higley. Before coming to Centennial, I taught Kindergarten Prep at Sossaman's premier state of the art early childhood development center. I am now proud and excited to be a Centennial Cardinal.
I have been happily married for over 20 years to my high school sweetheart. We are proud parents of two wonderful daughters and three cuddly dogs. When I am away from school, I enjoy quality time with my family. We love camping, off-roading, sporting events, and making memories with our family and friends.
The home-school connection is a significant factor in your child's success in school for their academic, social, physical, and emotional growth. I look forward to fostering this relationship with you as we progress onward and prepare your child for a successful school career. My desire is to create a memorable and safe "classroom family" environment for your child's Kindergarten year with active learning and not to mention, fun! Each year I love seeing the growth in my students and I know your child's accomplishments will fill your heart as well.
My door is always open and welcoming to you. If you should have any questions outside of class, you may reach me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I whole-heartedly welcome you into our kindergarten family! We are going to have a great year! Go Centennial Cardinals!
