My name is Molly Montoya and I am a graduate of ASU with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I also have my gifted endorsement. I have taught Kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade. This is my 17 year of teaching.
When I first starting teaching, I taught in Florence, Arizona for six years. I wanted to teach closer to home so I decided to come to the Higley district. I have been teaching in the Higley district for the past ten years. In addition to teaching at Chaparral, I am also the Co-Advisor for the Student Lighthouse Team on our campus. This student team helps students find their voice on campus through different leadership roles and activities.
I am a native to Arizona and I grew up in Tempe. I met my husband in high school and we have two beautiful children. I have one daughter and one son. I enjoy going camping with my family and reading books in my spare time. I love teaching at Chaparral and am looking forward to a great year!
