My goal for the band students at Cooley and Williams Field is for students to participate actively in creating and sharing music on a daily basis. In band, students will collaborate and learn to work as a team within the classroom to accomplish musical goals and performances.

About the Teacher
Stacey Rivera is the band and orchestra teacher at Cooley Middle School and the assistant band director at Williams Field High School. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degree in Music Education from the University of Arizona with an emphasis on Euphonium, Trombone, and Tuba performance. Stacey has had an active performance career, playing in concert bands, marching bands, chamber ensembles, drum corps, and instrumental stage productions. Stacey currently perform with the Arizona Wind Symphony at several concerts each year.In addition to teaching at the Higley District, Stacey teaches teaches private lessons to brass instrumentalists in the east valley and has taught the Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle corps as well as the Arizona Academy Drum and Bugle Corps.
