My name is Jess Root. I have taught Spanish overall since 2002 and at Williams Field since 2012. I have taught all levels of Spanish, from first year to AP, including a class for native speakers at one point, and have helped develop much of the district curriculum.
I learned Spanish as an adult serving a religious mission in Southern Argentina and then earned a B.A.E in secondary education (Spanish) and later an M.Ed. in Educational Administration and Supervision. I also teach Spanish classes in the Maricopa Community College district.
