I am thrilled to journey through the biological sciences with you all here at Higley High! I have been teaching middle and high school science in the Higley district since 2012, and I also call our community home. Prior to working in Higley, I taught middle school science in the Florence district. Teaching is a second career for me, but one that I feel I was destined to pursue. Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a dolphin trainer and then a zoo educator.
When I'm not in my classroom, I spend my time with my husband and two young children enjoying the outdoors, taking frequent camping trips, attempting home improvement projects, and enjoying life in beautiful Gilbert. I am passionate about teaching and helping students understand their potential as scientists. In our class, students will ask questions, ponder curious observations, make discoveries, and develop a solid understanding of life and its fascinating processes.
