My name is Melanie Bodnar. I was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. I went to Arizona State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Bachelor of Science in Family Studies and Human Development. I loved school so much I went on to earn a Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I teach 3rd grade accelerated math, 3rd grade regular math and science. I also am the Cortina Robotics Coach and the Cortina Student Council Advisor.
My husband, Anthony, and I just got married in October 2018. We love camping, hiking, watching movies and exploring different places. When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my family. I have three nieces that love to go shopping with me and browse the bookstore or library. I also have an adorable nephew who loves sharks and whales. In my spare time, I love to get lost in a good book and having a good time with my family.
