My name is Lisa Burke and I have been teaching Language Arts since 2011. Prior to teaching Language Arts, I taught 4th grade for 5 years.My education includes a Masters Degree in Elementary Education from CW Post College in Long Island, New York, and an undergraduate degree in Business Economics from S.U.N.Y. Oneonta. I hold a certificate in Secondary Education for Language Arts.
I have lived in Arizona for 14 years, and from Long Island, New York. I am married to Mr. Burke, who teaches robotics at SMS, and have 4 beautiful children. Christian is in the US Navy, John is going to college at ASU, Mary is a senior, and Bella is a junior. In my free time,I love to read, run, and exercise. I enjoy hiking and taking in beautiful Arizona weather and sites.
