My name is Jenna Wagner and I am a graduate of ASU with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for 9 years and feel that it truly is my passion. I earned my master's degree in Reading and Curriculum Development five years ago from Grand Canyon State University.
I have spent all 9 years teaching at Coronado Elementary School. Specifically, I spent 8 years as a second grade teacher, two of which teaching the ELA side of the mandarin program. I have spent one summer teaching physical education and writing to English Language Learners (ELL students) in China. This was an amazing experience full of great memories.
I am now the Gifted and Talented specialist at Coronado Elementary School. I am also the Robotics club coordinator on campus for our 5th and 6th grade students. My role is to support teachers in differentiating and meeting all the various needs in their classroom with a special emphasis on our Gifted and Talented students. I also have experience coaching cheerleading and sponsoring Girls on the Run.
