    Hello,Thanks for stopping by! My name is DeAyn Tapia, and I will be teaching First Grade. Yes! That is a picture of me when I was in First Grade. My Dad was in charge of my hair for picture day. I love that he tried his best!
     
    This is my 14th year as a teacher. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, first, and Kindergarten. This will be my 5th year as a first grade teacher.  I have been in the district going on 11 years. I am excited for this NEW adventure. I lOVE FIRST GRADE!!
     
    I can't wait to meet all of my NEW First Grade-Friends for the 2018-19 school year. Children teach me something NEW everyday. I love being a teacher!
     
    I am married to my High School Sweetheart! We have been married for 24 years. I have 3 wonderful children. This year I will have 2 in college, and one in High School. Yikes!
