My name is Justin Pullins. I was born and raised in Arizona and enjoy all it has to offer. My science background is in Wildlife Ecology with an emphasis in Herpetology (study of reptiles and amphibians). I have been a longtime volunteer with the Arizona Game and Fish department and also a former intern. I have studied many native animals such as Black-footed Ferrets, Desert Tortoise, and Shovel-nosed snakes. I have been teaching in the Higley School District since January 2011.
I believe that all students should value what they are taught and understand its importance. A question I always asked in school is, "Why are we learning this." In my class, students will know why, and they will see where the knowledge can take them in life.
