My name is Susie Markosian and I was born in New Jersey but moved here many years ago so I consider myself a native of Arizona. I grew up in the Mesa/Gilbert area. Gilbert is quite different from when I lived here in the late 1970s. I graduated with a BA in Elementary Education from Arizona State University with a minor in Math.
I have taught in Higley since 2001 in grades 6, Kindergarten and Kindergarten Prep. Although I loved teaching the older students, my passion is teaching the young students.
My husband and I have three children. Our family loves attending Arizona Coyotes games, playing tennis, camping and the beach! I also enjoy reading, running and cycling.
