    Test Prep Resources: The Princeton Review for ACT & SAT They offer online study materials and in office classes. They are located 725 S. Rural Rd. Suite 206 Tempe, AZ 85281

    SAT/ACT - Additonal information about the ACT / SAT / and Subject test dates and fees may be picked up in the Career Center.

     
      
    FAFSA application day was November 14, make sure to finish the application as soon as possible. January 1st is the deadline for many institutions for priority financial aid packaging.  Here are the steps:
     
    1. Create your fsaid by going here
     
    2. Once you create your fsa id and password, start your application by going here
     
    3. When you complete the FAFSA please fill out this survey. Then work on your ECAP through AZCIS.


    Why is FAFSA important?

    The short answer is that it benefits you and your school. If you are planning on attending community college, vocation school, or 4- year university, you will need to apply for this application.
    You only stand to benefit by having access to grants, scholarships, government loans and work study programs.

    The Career Center at Higley High School is a resource center designed for students to obtain information regarding post high school planning. Whether the student is planning for university, community college, the military service or a technical/trade school the Career Center offers information on:
     
     • Tips on finding and filling out Scholarships (text @higleysch to 81010 for available scholarships)
     • Financial Aid (FAFSA)
     • Vocational Training
     • ACT/SAT Information
     • Career Inventories
     • Applying for jobs/interview techniques
     • Volunteer/community service opportunities
     
     In addition to these services, we also provide college bound students with the opportunity to meet with university and college representatives to discuss the admissions process. Seniors are highly encouraged to sign up for these presentations.  Sign-up sheets are located in the Career Center. Passes are sent out to those students that have signed up for a particular school presentation.
     

    The College and Career Center Specialist, Mrs. Escoto, is available to help with any questions. The Career Center is open 7:00 a.m.. to 3:30 p.m.
    Information can be found via twitter @hhcollegecareer, the school website, daily announcements, the Friday video and the Career Center bulletin board.
     
    Students are encouraged to visit the Center before or after school and/or during their lunch hour to receive assistance.
