My name is Cheryl Bodnar and I have been teaching for nineteen years, and each year gets better! I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Siena College in New York, my teacher certification from Ottawa University, my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from NAU, and my gifted endorsement from ASU. I consider myself a lifelong learner!
I am an avid reader, and I love to share my passion for reading and writing with my students. I also enjoy hiking, camping, bicycle riding, exercising, exploring, and traveling. I am fascinated with history, I appreciate all things in nature, and I have mild obsessions with mountains, oceans and dogs! My family and friends are very dear to me, and I cherish my time with them as well.
I feel very strongly about good character traits and being kind to others. My hope is to instill a love of learning and reading, and to encourage my students to be curious and inquisitive while working respectfully and collaboratively together. I love to challenge students to take risks and meet their full potential. My goal is for school to be FUN and EXCITING!
