Higley Unified School District (HUSD) invites students in the East Valley to enroll for the 2025-2026 school year. While enrollment space is guaranteed for students who live within their school’s boundaries, parents outside of Higley boundaries can choose to enroll their student into any school in Higley. Many special programs such as Dual Language Immersion fill up quickly, so families are encouraged to open enroll their student as soon as possible. All families can begin the enrollment or re-enrollment process starting today.
HUSD is an “A” rated school district that offers comprehensive education including career and technical education, dual enrollment and advanced placement opportunities, gifted education, extracurricular activities including award-winning athletics, arts, and much more. Families who attend Higley Schools praise the expertise of teachers and staff, the positive campus culture, and wide variety of options for every child.
Cheryl Huie has two students at Chaparral Elementary, one of the district’s two Leader in Me© Lighthouse Certified schools teaching leadership values based on Franklin Covey’s Seven Habits. “We will never find another school like this one,” she said. “The character development that we have seen in our children is something that we can’t deny.”
Karlee Hall’s son attends Higley High School, and played on their State Championship-winning team. “We have grown with Higley and it has been remarkable to see the success continue,” she said.
