Network Infrastructure

The Higley Unified School District Information Technology Department plans, implements, and maintains the network infrastructure for 13 schools and one virtual academy.

Higley Unified uses Metro-Optical Ethernet circuits provided by COX Communications to deliver a 1GBps WAN connection to all of our schools and facility buildings, with a 10GBps connection to the Internet through our state-of-the-art data center located at the District Office.

Along with our wired network, many of the district's devices connect to the network wirelessly using either a Ruckus or Meraki wireless network.
