  • Math Curriculum Adoption Update – March 2018

    The Higley Unified School District’s Math Adoption Committee has selected McGraw-Hill for the district’s new K-12 mathematics curriculum adoption.

    Prior to a vote by the Higley Unified School District Governing Board, the curriculum will be on display at the district office, 2935 S. Recker Road, Gilbert, Ariz., through May 4. Community members may also complete an evaluation form following material review.

    All Higley elementary schools are now accepting registration packets for next school year. Families that wish to open enroll into one of our campuses should turn in an open enrollment form, along with registration packet. Open enrollment spots may be limited at some sites, so apply today!

  • Kids Club Spring Break Camp

    Registration is now open for Kids Club Spring Break Camp, which will be held at San Tan Elementary School. Camp will run 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, March 12 - March 23

    The cost is $40/day per child and includes snack and field trips. Camp is open to children in preschool through sixth grade.

    Camp has a limited capacity and is on a first come, first serve basis. More details can be found on the registration website

With this update, families will now be able to schedule deposits, check account balances and set up low balance notifications with ease.   • Mandarin Immersion Program 2017-18

    Coronado Elementary School is accepting students in kindergarten, first, second, third-grade and fourth-grade for its Mandarin Choice Program for the 2017-18 school year.

    Students in the Mandarin Immersion program will receive instruction in both Mandarin and English during their school day. Math and science are taught by a native Mandarin speaker. Language arts and social studies are taught by an English-speaking teacher. The students also participate in all other programs at Coronado, including physical education, the arts, after-school options and more.
