District Committees
he Higley Unified School District Governing Board approved the revised Policy IJJ on July 23, 2024. As part of this revision, we have updated our process for approving novels for grades 6-12 and supplemental materials for grades PreK-12. We have two active committees: the 6th – 12th Grades Novel Review Committee and the Supplemental Materials Review Committee. Agendas and meetings minutes can be access via Board Docs (see screenshot for how to navigate to the committees).
60 Day Public Review
Beginning March 4, 2025 both the PreK-12th Grades Supplemental Materials Committee recommendations and 6th-12th Grades Novel Committee recommendation are open for a 60-day public review. Please see the sections below for the recommendations and the feedback forms. The forms will close on May 4 at noon.
