  • Preschool Information and Registration Nights 

    The Higley Unified School District prides itself on providing quality educational experiences. We feel that enriched early childhood environments not only provide extraordinary opportunities for young children, but also form the foundation for a successful educational career.

    There are a variety of programs available for children ages 3-5, including part-time and full-time options. These programs are Brilliant Beginnings (ages 3-4), KinderPrep (ages 4-5), which includes Mandarin, Spanish, and THINK! Highly Gifted Academy, STARS/BEST (for children with special needs who qualify), and Peer Pals.

    Families interested in any of our programs may attend either event:

  • Kindergarten Round-Up

    Kindergarten Round-Up is 6 to 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at all Higley elementary campuses.

    Higley offers FREE all-day kindergarten at all elementary campuses. Hear from school leaders and learn more about what kindergarten looks like in the Higley district.

  • Save the date: HUSD Job Fair, Feb. 7

    Higley Unified School District will soon be hiring for the 2019/2020 school year! Join us 4 to 7 p.m. Feb. 7 at Williams Field High School for on-the-spot interviews. School and department leaders will be hiring for a number of positions, including: teachers, Kids Club activity assistants, custodial, clerical, classroom assistants and more.

  • Kids Club

    Kids Club is excited to welcome all families to the 2018 - 2019 school year. We provide before and after school care programs and Kids Club Camps during school breaks to enhance the learning that takes place during the school day for students in preschool through sixth grade.

    Kids Club is available at our two Early Childhood Development Centers and at all our elementary schools from 6:00 a.m. until school begins and directly after school until 6:00 p.m.

  • Higley Unified School District is proud to offer quality early learning programs in our state-of-the-art Early Childhood Development Centers on the campuses of Cooley and Sossaman Middle Schools, which opened in 2013.

    Both Centers offer three Early Childhood programs to fit the interests and schedules of all families. Brilliant Beginnings is available for children ages 3-4. We will also offer a Kindergarten Prep program for children ages 4-5 and our STARS program for special needs students.

    Classes are taught by certified early childhood educators.
