Currently a high school Chemistry and Physical Science teacher, Mrs. Anderson has 15+ years in education (Secondary Math and Science Teacher, Human Resources, and Governing Board Secretary). Mrs. Anderson and her husband have two children who have been attending Higley schools since kindergarten, with their first graduating in 2021 and their second in 2023. Her District/Educational volunteer service includes: Leadership Committee, Curriculum Committee, Budget Committee, Crosswalk, and Site Council (elementary, middle and high school).

Anna Van Hoek is a small business owner and has worked in the banking industry for 20 years. She has over 25 years of finance experience. Mrs. Van Hoek has been an active member of the community as a parental rights and health freedom advocate. She and her husband have two teenage girls and they love to travel as a family. Mrs. Van Hoek is and has always been devoted to parents and children and she is looking forward to working with the school district and parents to make positive changes in the lives of our families and our community. It’s this intense dedication, passion, and devotion that fuels her fight to make HUSD a great district for all students.

Mrs. Kristina Reese and her husband, Chris, have lived in the Higley Unified School District for more than 10 years. They have 3 children, 2 at Coronado Elementary and 1 at Williams Field High School. She has been a Gilbert business owner for more than 8 years in the realm of early childhood education. Mrs. Reese is also a graduate of Gilbert Leadership Class 20. She is very community and child focused. She serves as an Ambassador to the Gilbert Chamber of Commerce and is involved with local Girl Scout troops.

Tiffany Shultz has been a proud member of the Gilbert community for over fifteen years. She is a small business owner, a wife and mother. Her agency, Levitate, produces a variety of successful festivals, including Sweets Festival, Bacon, Blues & Brews and Vintage & Vino. She has recently opened a shop at the San Tan Village Mall carrying Arizona products, Sip & Shop, A Local Collection. Mrs. Shultz is the wife of a firefighter and Mother to Sophya and Scarlett. She has a background in journalism, public relations, event production and earned a B.A. from ASU. She was selected as AZ Central’s “35 under 35” and enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, charities and community organizations. She is a member of the Class of 29, Gilbert Leadership Class. She enjoys travel above all, and learning new things and cultures. Her happy place is camping at the beach. You can find her on her Peloton, eating tacos, at a live concert. She is very excited about this opportunity to serve her community and looks forward to working with everyone.

Amanda Wade has been a part of education and the Higley School District since 2011. She began her teaching career in 2011 and spent six years total teaching in the Higley Unified School District, with the majority of that time spent at Williams Field High School. She taught for an additional four years at Walter Johnson High School in Bethesda, Maryland, while her husband earned his medical degree. After moving back home to Arizona with their two children and returning to teaching at Williams Field, Mrs. Wade made the decision in 2021 to leave the classroom and pursue other ways to impact education. She currently spends as much time as she can helping at Gateway Pointe Elementary, where both of her children attend, and she is currently pursuing graduate programs in Education Policy.
