District Committees

The Higley Unified School District Governing Board approved the revised Policy IJJ on July 23, 2024. As part of this revision, we have updated our process for approving novels for grades 6-12 and supplemental materials for grades PreK-12. We are currently accepting applications for the following committees: the 6^th – 12^th Grades Novel Review Committee and the Supplemental Materials Review Committee. Eligible committee members include HUSD employees, parents/legal guardians, and residents within the Higley Unified School District. If you are interested in serving on one of these committees, please complete the application for that committee no later than Wednesday, August 21 at 12:00pm.  Applicants will be notified on Monday, August 26 of the outcome of committee selection.
