2013 Voter-Approved Bond Projects - Safety and Security
During the summer of 2014, Higley Unified School District worked to make all HUSD sites a single point entry. Projects were funded by the voter-approved 2013 $70 million bond package.
The front office design changes included a new greeting area to improve security at the sites. All reception areas included additional safety features, such as new buzz-through systems for visitors, 12" and 24" tinted privacy-glass panes and raised counters, as well as new visitor bathrooms.
