Free School Meals - Updated Sept. 24, 2020
The Federal Government and the Arizona Department of Education approved free breakfast and lunch meals for all children 18 and under through December 31st, 2020. This now includes weekend meals and meals during our fall break.
Online learners and other community families can pick up multiple day meal bundles from Higley Traditional Academy, 3391 E Vest Avenue, every Tuesday and Friday starting on Tuesday, September 29th from 10am-4pm. Tuesday's bundle will consist of 3 days’ worth of breakfasts and lunches and Friday's bundle will consist of 4 days’ worth of breakfasts and lunches. Parents are allowed to pick up meals without children present.
Students attending in-person, on-campus instruction can receive these free meals starting on Tuesday, September 8th in their respective school cafeterias. A meal consists of: one entrée, fruit, vegetable, and milk. Second meals and a la carte items are not included and will be sold at the regular cost.
