My name is Hunter Cruz I graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2016 with a dual degree in elementary and special education. This will be my third year as a special education teacher and my second teaching at Cortina Elementary.
I am proud to say that I have been a part of the Higley Unified School District family since I was in 3rd grade where I attended Gateway Point Elementary. It's such an honor to come back and work for the district that once helped raise me and create the person I am today.
