All schools have an ample amount of Carts On Wheels (COWs) to allow for mobile use of technology in the classrooms. These COWs contain a mixture of HP and Lenovo student devices that meet or exceed the state’s requirement for online testing.The HUSD Information Technology Department primarily supports two operating system (OS) platforms and two mobile device management (MDM) platforms:

A Chromebook pilot program is ongoing for the 2021-2022 school year at Power Ranch Elementary.
The District employees a staff of 10 on-site computer technicians to configure, deploy, and support all student and staff technology, along with seven higher-level technical staff to support the District’s wide variety of technology, consisting of a Cisco infrastructure, Cisco UCS, Nimble Storage, and HP servers, along with a Cisco Unity phone system.
