We are pleased to announce that each graduating senior will now receive four tickets to the graduation ceremony that will be held on our campus. Each graduate will receive their four tickets at the mandatory graduation rehearsal. The HUSD Governing Board has removed the district policy requiring face coverings, therefore face coverings will be recommended but not required for all attendees of the graduation ceremony. Please stay up to date with information regarding senior checkout process. We are so proud of the class of 2021 and are excited to celebrate this milestone with you!
Due to the pandemic, we will not be allowed to hold our graduation ceremonies at ASU Desert Financial Arena as originally planned. We are currently planning an in-person graduation at Higley High School on the football field to honor our graduates and safely celebrate the graduating class of 2021. The date of graduation will remain May 27th. However, due to the temperatures outside during that time of the year our ceremony will begin at 7:30 pm. Attendance numbers will be limited for the event, at this time each graduate will be allowed four tickets (no exceptions) for guests to attend the ceremony in person. We have decided to live stream the ceremony as well as post the recording online for those that cannot attend in-person. We hope that you will create fun opportunities and beautiful memories in the midst of less than ideal circumstances. We are incredibly excited to celebrate the Class of 2021 and all of their accomplishments. Further details will be communicated to you as the date comes closer. We are hoping as graduation approaches COVID guidelines will allow for additional guests. Please watch for updates in the HHS Newsletter distributed via email every Friday at 3:30. Thank you for being such an important part of Higley High School, we look forward to celebrating with you soon!
