• About Me

My name is Megan Manasco, and I am the 3rd-4th grade Resource teacher at San Tan this year. This will be my fourth year at San Tan, and I'm excited to once again be teaching 3rd and 4th grade! I am an Arizona native who was born in Tucson, raised in Tempe, and attended college in Flagstaff. My hobbies include reading, traveling, spending time with friends and family, learning about dinosaurs, and drinking lots of coffee!

This year marks my 8th year of teaching resource. Before obtaining my degree I worked as a paraprofessional within autism self-contained programs and found my true passion in special education. I decided to follow that passion up the San Francisco Peaks and got my Bachelors in Elementary and Special Education from Northern Arizona University (Go Jacks!). I completed my Masters in Reading Instruction last year, and look forward to continuing to apply all the skills I've learned with my students. I truly believe all students are capable of success, no exceptions!

I know that education is a partnership of home, school and community and I encourage frequent communication.  Email is great, and will respond back as quickly as possible, I will also be available before or after school by appointment should you need to meet in person. I cannot wait to work with my students old and new, and am ready to make the 2019-2020 school year the best one yet!
