Welcome Coronado Elementary Parents, Guardians and Community,

My name is Jeff Armstrong, and it is my absolute privilege to serve as the principal to such an exceptional community of learners. First and foremost, thank you for choosing Coronado Elementary as your partner in educating your student. We would like to welcome you and your student to The Coyote Nation!

At Coronado, our core belief is We Are ONE! One Staff, One School, and One Community. As a unified team, we can offer EVERY Coyote a remarkable, first-class education. We embrace our vision to ensure a premier education that enables ALL students to enter middle school and succeed at high academic and social-emotional levels. We pride ourselves on collaborating with parents to encourage academic, social and emotional growth, create positive relationships, inspire greatness, and motivate ALL students to realize their maximum potential.

Throughout the year, your student will be given numerous opportunities to develop the skills needed to be successful in an ever-changing world. Students are encouraged to demonstrate what it truly means to 'Learn and Play the Coyote Way' through P.A.W.S. (Positive Perseverance, Acting Respectfully, Working to Potential, Staying Safe). We want Coronado Coyotes to be leaders within their community.

Ultimately, the goal is to prepare our students for the next step in their educational journey, providing them with the skills needed to be successful. You can expect your child to be engaged in various learning opportunities that will provide them with the skills. By the time students leave Coronado, we want them to be effective communicators, problem solvers, and critical thinkers.

On behalf of the remarkable staff at Coronado Elementary, thank you for entrusting us to educate your student! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.

    Go Coyotes!

    Educationally Yours,

    Jeff Armstrong
