• Every child in grades K-3 will be assessed using DIBELS. After benchmark testing is completed (by Sept. 14th) teachers will receive a class list report of student results.  Any student falling below the core benchmark cut score will have their progress monitored by either the classroom teacher (strategic monitoring once a month) or the literacy coach (intensive monitoring twice a month). Students falling into the intensive needs category will also receive intervention support from the literacy coach. Parents will receive a notification letter should their child require progress monitoring and/or intervention support as soon as the assessment period has concluded.
