Mission Statement:

The mission of interscholastic activities in HUSD is to extend educational opportunities through athletic competition and competitive performance, while maximizing participation in programs that promote citizenship, sportsmanship, a healthy lifestyle, and positive life skills.

Philosophy:

The administration, activity sponsors, program directors, and coaching staff of HUSD, consider interscholastic activities a vital part of the total educational process. We strive to foster positive experiences and guide our student participants toward realizing their full potential, while pursuing victory with honor.

The Higley Unified School District is pleased to offer a schedule of recreation opportunities with a focus on K-8 age-level activities. The programs offered strive to promote physical activity, fitness, skill development and sportsmanship.
