My name is Cynthia Alexander and I am a graduate of Arizona State University. I have a Masters in Elementary Education with an emphasis in educational technology. I also have endorsements in English as a Second Language, Early Childhood and Gifted. I have been an educator for 27 years. During my career I have taught a variety of grade levels and subjects, but find my role as gifted and talented teacher to be the most rewarding position I have had.
I am a proud wife and mother. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Mike, for 21 years. We have three amazing children, two girls and a boy. We live in the Higley community and our children proudly attend schools within Higley Unified School District. We enjoy family activities like exploring Arizona, playing cooperative board games, or playing with our three dogs, Scrappy, Sweetie and Mr. D. I also enjoy crafting, reading, and photography.
I was born and raised in Arizona. I have two older brothers and a younger sister, also a teacher. We are all fortunate to live in Arizona and get together as a family regularly. I grew up watching and cheering for Arizona State University during football season. It was a tradition and a way of life in my family. I am an avid Sun Devil fan!
