My name is Valerie Sherrill and my passion is learning and sharing that love with my students. I believe that science teaches the foundations of being a contributing member of society because it teaches us to logically think about the world around us. My goal is to show my students that it isn't about a specific subject in school that will make them successful, but how they process information and use their knowledge.
Besides being passionate about learning, I also LOVE spending time with my family! I have a wonderful husband who also teaches HS science and two beautiful children. We are a volleyball family through and through and most of our free time is spent playing, watching, or coaching the sport.
