My name is Shelli Furlong and I am a graduate of University of Alaska Anchorage with a Bachelor of Science in K-8 Education. I have been in education for over 25 years. I have 4 amazing children. My husband, the principal at Higley High School, and I retired from the state of Alaska and have enjoyed planting new roots in Arizona.
Over the course of my career, I have taught Gifted, 1st – 5th grades, and was an Elementary Curriculum Adviser. I enjoy participating and growing with my community. I have served as a board member on the Kenai Peninsula Boys and Girls Club and Kenai Peninsula Pop Warner Association.
