Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year!
My name is Caitlin Klemmetson and this is my sixth year teaching at Power Ranch. I am so thrilled to be teaching in the resource room again this year! I look forward to getting to know each of you throughout the year.
During my time at Power Ranch, I have spent time as a 4th grade teacher, and in the resource room. Prior to starting my career, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and Elementary Education from ASU. More recently, I have received a post bacc. certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership (Principalship) from ASU. Outside of the classroom, my husband and I enjoy spending time with friends and family, exploring the United States, reading, cooking and watching movies.
I look forward to meeting and getting to know each student as we work hard each day to grow and reach our goals. Every student has a unique learning style and it is important to work with both parents and teachers to ensure each child’s individual needs are met. It is my goal to instill a love of learning into all of our students while we help them feel confident in their abilities. My hope is for all students to come to school excited and eager to learn.
We are a team and I believe it is important to have open communication in order to help our students be successful both academically and socially. Please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email. You can reach me by leaving a message on my school voicemail: 480-279-7681, or by sending me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Together, we will have an amazing year!
