My name is Wendy Haase and I am a graduate of ASU. This will be my 10th year teaching at Chaparral. I have taught every subject in 6th grade, and this year I will be teaching Science, focused on 6th Grade Math Standards. My background in teaching also includes Special Education and 2nd grade.
My family includes my husband of 24 years, my 21 year old daughter who will be a Senior at NAU this fall, my 19 year old son who is attending UND Flight School (he is a private and instrument rated pilot as of June 2023), and my old lady dog who mostly sits around and sleeps on the couch.
I enjoy travel, reading, and kayaking with my friends! This summer my husband and I took a few small trips, one to Long Beach to stay on the Queen Mary (Most haunted hotel in the US), and one down to Tucson to stay at a resort.
