    Note: The Arizona Department of Revenue and state statute A.R.S. §15-342 does not permit ECA (extra curricular activities) tax credit dollars to pay for Community Education programs such as Kids Club and Higley Youth Sports League.   • Community Education Kids Club Childcare Program

    Higley Unified School District will offer full-day, fee-based childcare program for students who need supervision during the day but do not qualify or prefer not to use the HUSD Targeted Student Support Services Program. The Kids Club Childcare Program will be available 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday at Sossaman Early Childhood Development Center for children ages 3-12. Space is limited.

    The current childcare programs at HTA, Gateway Pointe, San Tan and Power Ranch elementary schools will end Friday, Aug. 14.

    Students will be given an opportunity to work on remote learning, if needed, during the day.

    Due to Covid-19 there have been some changes to our full-day program.

    • Families will have to select and pay for the full week of childcare. Daily selections will not be available.
    • There is a $25 registration fee per child and each week of childcare will cost $200 for first child, and $180 for any siblings.
    • Families can register for 2 weeks at time.
    • A waitlist will be made available to register online if the childcare week is full.
    • Groups of children and staff will stay consistent for the whole week and at a ratio of 1 to 10.
    • Afternoon snack will be provided to students. 
    • Please send your child with lunch or his/her lunch account card and a water bottle.
    • Students ages 6 and older are required to wear a mask per Governor’s Executive Order 2020-51. Kids Club will provide a mask, if a child does not have one. 
    • Kids Club will provide opportunities for students to participate in remote learning. Students are encouraged to bring a District-provided devices and headphones the first week.
    • Program is open to children ages 3 (must-be potty trained) through 12.

  • Community Ed Launches New Payment Website

    The Community Education’s new payment website is This new software has many features that our families have been asking for:

    • Mobile phone friendly viewing, scheduling and payments
    • Members can update/change credit card at any time
    • Search bar at the top of the website for easier navigation of classes
    • Reminders for when classes are coming up
    • Easier scheduling for Kids Club

    To login, please follow these directions for summer childcare and school year kids club:

    • When first logging in to the new website, click “Login” in the right hand corner. Enter the email address previously associated with your account and click “Next”.
    • You will be prompted to reset your password. Once your password is successfully reset, you can proceed to login & access your account options by hovering over your initials in the right hand corner.
    • If you are having difficulty logging in to your account, please do not create a new account! Please first contact our office for further assistance to prevent duplicate accounts from being created.
    • Once you are logged into your account you can search Kids Club Summer Childcare in the search bar at the top of the website.
    • Select the childcare option and proceed with registering your student(s). There will be additional information needed, and a registration packet to fill out.
    • Payment is due at the time of registration. If you had any past due balances in the old system, it was brought over to the new system and will need to be paid before registering for the Summer Childcare Program.
