My name is DeAyn Tapia, and this is my 17th year as a teacher. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, first, and Kindergarten. This will be my 7th year as a first grade teacher. This is my 5th year here at Chaparral. I have been in the district going on 13 years. I am excited for this NEW adventure. I love FIRST GRADE! Children teach me something NEW everyday. I love being a teacher!
I am married to my High School Sweetheart! We have been married for 26 years. I have 3 wonderful children. This year I will have one in college (GCU), one college grad with a Nursing Degree (GCU) , and the baby is a senior in High School. Yikes! A new season will soon begin. I love having adventures with my family, going to movies, reading, and journaling.
