I love teaching here at Higley High School. It has become a second home for me. My first year teaching here was the 2003-2004 school year. I have had the privilege of teaching many students through the years. My many colleagues have become good friends. I am from the great state of Texas where I taught and worked as a school administrator but I love Arizona.
In my many years of teaching Spanish I have taught every level from first year up to fifth year, including Honors, Dual credit, and Advanced Placement. I love everything about the Spanish language. I have been a fluent speaker since 1974.
I have studied at several universities but I received my Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Biology from Angelo State University in 1991 and then received my Master of Education in School Administration from the same institution in 2000. I love being a Higley Knight. Go Knights!
