Williams Field High School is holding a “Stuff the Bus” school-wide community service event. The Black Hawks are working with United Food Bank (UFB) in Mesa and the goal is to fill a bus with non-perishable items. The event will run from October 18 through November 18, at which time the bus will actually deliver all collected products to UFB. A documentary was filmed with Bob Evans, President of UFB and Melissa Forrester, Resource Development. This documentary was shown to WFHS on Oct 18th to kick off the campaign.
The bus was weighed prior to being placed in front of the school and will be weighed again on November 18th before heading off to UFB to track the total weight accumulated.
We welcome you to stop by with any donations to help “Stuff the Bus” and visit our bus, which is parked in the front of our school.
The banners on the bus were created by WF Black Hawk Art classes.
