  • Attention families of sixth-grade students

Recently a postcard regarding Sossaman Middle School open house and registration information was sent in error to some families that are in the Cooley Middle School feeder pattern. Please note: Students that reside in the Coronado, HTA, Gateway Pointe and Chaparral boundaries are assigned to attend Cooley Middle School. On Jan. 9, 2017, sixth-grade students will receive a handout with registration information. Please read it carefully.

Both middle schools are holding open house events the same day and time, beginning at 5 p.m. Jan. 11. Please attend the open house for your assigned middle school. If you are interested in open enrollment and attending a school outside your boundaries, please complete an open enrollment form and submit it by Feb. 1 for priority placement.

If you have further questions, please see Cooley Middle School’s website or contact the campus directly, 480.279.8300.

  • Parents of 2017/18 7-12th graders

Students who will be in middle school and high school during the 2017-18 school year will make course selections online in January. Parents and guardians need to be sure they have a ParentVue account to help with this new process. ParentVue also allows families to see student grades and attendance information.

To obtain a ParentVue account, call your school office when they reopen on Jan. 9, after winter break.

  • Visitors on campus

All visitors are required to sign in at the office when we open at 7:45 a.m. During the first week of school, we allow parents and guardians to walk their children to the class meeting place to help the students find where they need to wait.

Throughout the remainder of the school year, we are a closed campus and we require all visitors to sign in at the office and acquire a visitor badge between the hours of 7:45 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. It is a requirement that all visitors sign in at any school office prior to entering campus while school is in session. This procedure helps us to ensure all kids safety.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call our school office at (480) 279.6800.
